Great Western Adventure: Travel Day and Day 1

A couple days behind schedule but here’s the rundown on the last vacation before the little rambler shows up later this year. Jackson Hole, WY and surrounding areas are the topic for the next few posts.

Travel was easy. No flight delays and no rough patches from home to DC, DC to Denver and Denver to Jackson Hole. It’s quite a ways from the airport to town so if you fly in, stick with the in airport rental car companies.

We took day one easy, hit up the visitors center and did a quick auto loop past the National Elk Preserve and through Grand Teton. Not a whole lot to see in Grand Teton plus the Ramblin Engineer here forgot to charge the camera battery so all that exists is a couple of cell phone pictures.
